Dubnyk or JDD?

Foreshadowing.

These two should be rotating for the rest of the season. The Bulin Wall is out, which lends credence to my prediction that injuries would finally help the Oilers, and it’s time to see which of these young giants can carry the load either in a starter’s role or as a back-up. That being said, I hope JDD plays tonight because two French-Canadian goaltenders duelling it out is something straight out of slapshot.

A caller on a radio show this afternoon said that Oilers management made yet another mistake over the past 25 games because Dubnyk wasn’t playing regularly; does this not contradict the notion that the Oilers should be developing their prospects in the minors? I suppose Dubnyk has been in the minors since he was born, but why does he deserve a free pass in the show over Deslayspotatochips? Sam Gagner, Andrew Cogliano and the like should have been in the minors for at least a year, and they should be earning their ice.

In closing, please promote Pat Quinn to GM already, and trade Moreau to Anaheim.

It’s sad, but there will be alot of trading of “Old” Oilers this year…and really, doesn’t Moreau deserve the chance to play for a team that has a chance? he’s the second hardest working guy in hockey..you know who the first was. (21)

Are you getting these comments BTW?

I sure am getting them, and I always respond.
Moreau and Staios absolutely deserve another cup run, they’ll be servicable guys on the right team. They look like they’re completely broken and finished with this bush-league squad.
